Pray for our persecuted family
Sometimes it can be difficult to know what to pray for our persecuted family so we produce a daily prayer shield which gives a specific need that you can pray for each day. You can see today’s prayer, plus those for the last 6 days, below.
Thursday 25 June 2026 – Lebanon
In a region marked by hardship, instability and persecution, please pray for protection for churches and especially their leaders and ministry teams.
Wednesday 24 June 2026 – Lebanon
Pray for ‘Michael’ who was an Islamic scholar and now leads Christian discipleship groups in Lebanon and faces regular death threats from his family. His knowledge of both Islamic and Christian beliefs is invaluable for those seeking to learn about Christ.
Tuesday 23 June 2026 – Lebanon
Pray for those who have recently come to faith in Christ, as they experience Christian fellowship, prayer, worship and discipleship. May God guide them and strengthen their faith through our partner’s discipleship programmes.
Monday 22 June 2026 – Lebanon
Pray for our partner’s dedicated discipleship and outreach teams who faithfully serve in challenging environments. May God grant them wisdom, discernment and clarity in every decision, and renew their passion for ministry.
Sunday 21 June 2026 – Sri Lanka
Pray for our partners as they bring together Christian teachers for an annual conference. This is a time of much-needed encouragement, refreshment and equipping.
Saturday 20 June 2026 – Sri Lanka
Thank God for Christian teachers such as Kumuduni Athapattu (see Voice, Jan-Mar 2026), who endure hostility and discrimination and yet continue faithfully to teach.
Friday 19 June 2026 – Sri Lanka
Pray for Pastor ‘Isaac’, who is in a lengthy legal battle. He faces threats to demolish his church building as well as opposition from police and religious militants.

Children’s Prayer Sheet
It’s not only adults who can pray for our persecuted family. Every month we produce a prayer sheet aimed specifically for children. Each sheet has specific activities and prayers which will help children learn more about how persecution affects children in other countries.
